Mirth Coven Music Festival, an indoor music fest, was conceived to connect women/nonbinary folk and allies at all stages of their musician journey to create support systems and foster mentorship or collaboration opportunities.

Mirth Coven especially seeks to uplift artists who may not necessarily see themselves represented in regular festival lineups or may not have established relationships within existing booking networks. Its primary focus is to connect women and nonbinary creatives in the area with other potential collaborators, potential fans, and potential resources.

“Every woman or nonbinary musician I have ever met throughout my life has blown me away in some capacity, regardless of their genre, age, skill set, experience,” the organizer, Rocio Anica, says. “We need spaces where women feel encouraged to support and collaborate with each other in different ways. The music scene is as healthy as people are empowered to make it healthy.”

The audience are encouraged to dress in witch costumes, with a Best-Dressed Witch contest to take place throughout the event. The winner will be announced before the final act and will receive a glow-in-the-dark 12" of Phoebe Bridgers's latest release.

To make the space as inclusive as possible, vegan food vendor, Umami Gorilla, will be selling autumnal food and refreshments. There will be lots of seating available.
